Connect Meraki switch to Cisco switch via GBIC

Have a MS250 that I would like to connect to my core Cisco 4506 over fiber.  Do Cisco GBICs work in Meraki switches and does it matter if the 4506 side uses CS connector and Meraki uses LC?

The old GBICs don't work in the Meraki world. But you can add an SFP on the Meraki side and use the mentioned SC to LC cable.

Bear in mind that anything that's still using big old GBICs is pretty unlikely to still be supported in any way by Cisco.   You can probably make it work but...   security?  supportability?
