Clear DHCP Lease Manually on MS410
Hello All,
We want to clear single client dhcp leased manually from our DHCP Server MS410, could we perform manually? instead of we wait until the leased time over or shorten the lease time period?
thank you

Hello,
Currently, it is not possible to release a single DHCP lease through the MX or switches that serve as the DHCP server.
Thats why I am moving away from the MX as I have a similar need to clear only one or two leases.
Kind Regards

@meraki-newbie as @Marcel_Smal said, at the moment. The only other option is to reboot the switch.

What has seemed to work for me is to turn DHCP off, save the config, let the config deploy to the switch, and then turn dhcp back on. That seems to do it.

Only way i've managed to force these to remove reservations is to set a static reservation against the mac address of the switch within my dhcp server, manually deleting all of the other reservations the switch has, configuring the static to be correct within the dashboard then hitting the manual reset button and forcing the switch to factory reset & pull its dashboard config again. Seems to clear the reservations & fix the leasing issue, but you will ofcourse suffer downtime!
