Cisco Meraki C9300X-24Y-M switch support AOC & DAC?

Cisco Meraki C9300X-24Y-M switch support SFP-H25G-CUxM & SFP-25G-AOCxM & SFP-10G-AOCxM & SFP-H10G-CUxM or not?

I have to choose between C9300X-24Y-M & C9300X-24Y-E.

Meraki only officially supports Meraki or Cisco branded SFP's. If the physical cable and speed type matches the switch you can test to see if it works but still, if you have issues or anything TAC cannot assist as they only support Cisco branded SFP's

The SFP-H25G-CUxM are actual Cisco parts.  You can verify this on the tmgmatrix.cisco.com website.
These are the handy cheap twinax cables to downlink close switches or servers 😉

These will have to be 'officially' supported soon since the whole C9300X is built around 25G connections.

Here to help

Hi,

at the moment there is no SFP28 from Meraki itself, you have to take the Cisco modules. Attention, it is only supported from a certain firmware.

Small-Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) and Stacking Accessories - Cisco Meraki Documentation

*Note: The SFP28/QSFP28 modules will be orderable March 2024 with software support in CS16.7. 25Gbps Dashboard support is slated for CS17 firmware. 25Gbps optics can be used in CS16.8, but should be considered 'Beta'.

When you plan to use the active direct attached cables I would recommend to ask your Meraki sales responsible first.
