Cisco 9200/9300 appears down in dashboard

I keep having my 9200 and 9300 switches appear down in the dashboard, but I am able to connect to them directly via a cli and they are fine. The only way I have been able so far to get them to appear online again is to reboot them. Anyone have any idea whats going on with them?

It’s taking longer than usual to confirm your device is ready. Onboarding will continue in the cloud. Please check your dashboard later.

The onboarding process on the switch has been completed, but additional back-end processing in the cloud is required. The switch should be available in the dashboard after 15 minutes. If it does not appear after one hour, attempt onboarding again or contact support.

The switches were onboarded a while ago and were showing up online. I later recieved an email that it was offline. Sometimes they will just reconnect on their own, but other times I have to restart the switch to get it to appear online again.

Kind of a big deal

If it doesn't show as online in the dashboard, and you have factory reset it, make sure it is plugged into an upstream network port that can get a DHCP address and has access to the Internet (basically, you should be able to plug a notebook into that same upstream network port and access the Internet

The newer train of IOS-XE 17.15.x now has Meraki support that is natively built in.  Before this it has to use a container running on top.

Perhaps trying the newer version of IOS-XE?

I am having a similar problem. 4 identical switch stacks in the same subnet, one went down at Jan 19 0539 EST. TLS tunnel is still up. Meraki monitored 9200 stacks running IOS XE 17.9.4a.

Tried restarting the loopback interface to no avail. Wish I could try "clear crypto" or something rather than reboot...
