Cellular status on MS switch

So while checking up on the local status page on an AP, I decided to take a look at how the page is on an MS switch, and then I stumbled over this; Cellular Status.

Are there a line of switches in scope, that contains 3G/4G(/5G) modems? Afaik, there are not any switches available now with modems..

Indeed there aren't. I wouldn't expect them to come either. Maybe they're just using the same template also used for MX?

No idea. Wouldn't be the first to reuse code. 😉

But I find it an interesting idea. It's an easy way to provide networking in remote places, albeit an MX would be more suitable. Hopefully, if it's in scope, they would allow for it to be deployed directly via cellular connection. Unlike the current way, where you would have to connect it physically first, and then deploy with cellular.
