C9500 switch for small datacenter usage

Anyone using the C9500 as a core switch with stackwise virtual and ISSU upgrade capability.

Would be looking to do as a Meraki managed config.

I see it shows Meraki support 9500's and ISSU.  Anyone actually doing that in production yet?

We use 9500s as distribution switches, but not Meraki configured yet, I'm also interested to see if someone does.

We've got C9500's in the core.

That said, they're currently in the old Meraki monitor mode pending the transition to the new Meraki Managed Device Configuration mode.

Reading the docs, it looks like ISSU is only available from version 17.8.1 (the stable release candidate version). I haven't tested but I hope you can still manually issue an ISSU via the CLI in prior versions...

I am interested in this because it is a configuration I would like to use.

Like everyone else (in this tread 🙂 ), we are just waiting for someone who "dares" to be the "first mover" 🙂
We also have customers with C9500 running in the "old monitor mode", and we also want to go Full Cloud Configured WITH StackWise Virtual .... but .... who dares 🙂
