On the datasheet it doesn't even mentions a copper SFP-- can a GLC-TE be used -- ?

thanks top one -- says the meraki copper one Not supported MA-SFP-1GB-TX  but the cisco SFP check says the cisco equivalent switch can take a GLC-TE= so would think it should-- but need someone one tried it

think the top one is also says  Click this LINK for a filtered list of all optics for C9300/C9300L/C9300X platforms - so i think they will work -- but any one tried on a new 9300 M model

yes no mention -- but this-- send you to the 9300 section which says GLC-TE= is compatible-M models are the same hardware just running natively in Meraki mode.

Will it work? - Almost certainly yes.

 

Is it supported? - Based on the note you mentioned above; the GLC-TE is compatible. However if you are troubleshooting issues that indicate the SFP may be a problem, I could see Meraki support may request you to swap in a MA-SFP-1GB-TX to rule it out.
