C9300-48P-A (Meraki converted) - Add to network - Help finding Meraki ID

Hi All,

What is the best way to retrieve the Meraki ID of a Cisco C9300-48P-A (Meraki converted) switch?  Don't see it in the read-only CLI (console).

Any help is appreciated.

The Meraki ID for a Cisco Catalyst C9300 converted to Meraki-managed mode is not shown in the standard read-only CLI after migration because console access is disabled once the switch is fully Meraki-managed. You need to retrieve it during or right after the migration process.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Meraki Support (if you can see this).  How do I go about retrieving the Meraki ID from the Cisco serial number?

You cannot directly convert a Cisco serial number into a Meraki Cloud ID yourself, the two identifiers are different.

Meraki Support can retrieve the Cloud ID for you if you provide the Cisco serial number and proof of purchase or order details

I suggest you open a support case.

Perhaps try and hit the Local Status Page?

If it's not in your inventory but you remember when it was and it's within the time the change logs keep, you may be able to hunt it down from when you removed it or added it.

If you type "show meraki connect" it should show you both the Cisco and Meraki serials at the end of the output.  It works for me on a C9300-48UXM.

The CLI (via the Console Port) is read only and doesn't ever get to state where I can type "show meraki connect".
