I have a question about not being able to access the 1.1.1.100 web page after factory resetting the device.

You also can use the dedicated managmentport without the need to set the ip statically.
what type of switch do you have?
Did you plug into the management port?
I connected it to the UTP port in front of the device, not the management port.
