view only permissions setup for cameras
Hi:
We have added some staff to our meraki portal for viewing of cameras. Apparently these staff are also receiving alerts when cameras go offline, license issues etc. Does anyone know how can I adjust permissions so that they only have viewing access to the cameras and nothing more. Id like to avoid the SSO setup is possible.

Did you set them up as network-wide admins or organization admins perhaps? Ideally you would want to configure them as Camera/sensor only admins which can be done through here:

I think thats the issue here. I was in a rush when adding them and i put them in the wrong place. So it looks like I need to add them as
Camera and Sensor Admins
does it need to be done under each location specifically? (we have multiple locations)

If you need these on specific networks you can use the camera-only sensor admin section. Otherwise, to configure this Org-Wide you can configure a Org-wide camera admin:
