Unable to access camera footage externally

I seem to have a lot of trouble getting my MV cameras at home to be reliable. Within the last 1-2 weeks now I cannot access my camera streams externally. They are plugged into an MS which is getting it's internet connection via an MX. Ports are open and I've tried with MV firmware 5.3 and 5.4.1

I'd open a case so they can look into the streaming server and other related services
