Meraki vision - login and fullscreen

Hi,

Does anybody know if it's possible to access Video Wall in Meraki Vision via URL passing login details and go directly on fullscreen mode?

We want to configure it on a PC so that it starts directly to web browser Meraki Vision Video wall once the PC starts.

Thanks

How to use the interface on a browser

You can use the Meraki Vision portal just like any other website, by going to vision.meraki.com and logging in with your Meraki dashboard credentials. There are links to the interface from the dashboard as well. Note: permissions are still managed on the dashboard like before.

Hi RWeIch,

thanks for your quick reply.

Yes, I can log in to Meraki Vision and watch all CCTVs and Video Walls.

I can get a  Meraki Vision video portal URL to share it.

But I want to put this URL on a web browser and once I into credentials on Meraki Vision it goes to Full-screen mode.

At the moment when I open that URL, I have to log in (logically) and press manually on fullscreen button.

We don't want the users to touch the computer, only it starts and shows this Video Wall on fullscreen.

How to use the interface as an app

There are links to the interface from the dashboard as well, however, as a PWA you can also download the app by clicking on the button to the right of the address bar. From there, you can add the app to your dock or desktop to open for next time.

In order to preview your cameras - it will require someone's user login.  Perhaps the APP would be a better option?  Other than keeping users away from the keyboard/mouse by allowing them to view the screen would be the only way I am familiar with what you are asking.

Thanks, but the app doesn't have the option to go directly to full screen mode.

No.

The closest option is Meraki Display.  Basically, you run an app on Apple TV and then plug your TV into it.

For MV deployments, I used to use an "Axis T8705 Video Decoder".  This allowed camera(s) to stream to the little black box (about the size of a cigarette packet - I used to velco them to the back of the TV), and then you plugged a screen into it using HDMI.  You could have video walls, rotating cameras, etc.  Lots and lots of options.

Alas, Axis have stopped making it, and I haven't come up with a good replacement solution.
