Made in china or Made in USA

Dear Friends,

We have a client who has a requirement that the Meraki Security Camera should not be Made in China.

Can someone tell or advise me to confirm how to know if the Meraki Products specially the Security Camera are Made in China or Made in USA ?

You will need to make contact with your local Merkai sales rep.

Their is an internal "Country of Origin" tool that have access to which will answer this question.

I can see this being a massive can of worms for the US in the near future. So far the list the Trump administration wishes to ban is.

Huawei

Hikvision

ZTE

Dahua

@Uberseehandel  Trump is only looking to ban chinese owned tech companies from use in federal departments. All US owned companies that just have product assembled in china are being leaned on to bring their assembly plants to the US.

At best that is an aspiration, otherwise we will be living with the $ 2,000 iPhone.

Whether the US still has a sufficiently tech savvy population to be able to fill the additional workforce required by on-shored high-tech manufacturing is a moot point. The US auto industry demonstrates the problem succinctly.

To my knowledge for MV lineup and accessories CoO is Taiwan. Easiest is to call a partner/disti. Self service solution is to check Cisco tools.
