At best that is an aspiration, otherwise we will be living with the $ 2,000 iPhone.
Whether the US still has a sufficiently tech savvy population to be able to fill the additional workforce required by on-shored high-tech manufacturing is a moot point. The US auto industry demonstrates the problem succinctly.
