Dedicated Camera app to compete

As a MSP that does Device as a service model and rents equipment to clients our clients don't typically need access to any of the networking equipment in the app. However to view cameras they have to login.

The fact that they have to login / mfa every time they open the app just to check the cameras and navigate through the org/network sections of the app just to get to the cameras causes so much confusion and makes it so these cameras cannot compete with other dedicated systems or providers such as verkada in the similar space.

We need a dedicated camera app that keeps the user logged in and allows them to quickly just look at cameras on a mobile device. With streamlined controls for mobile viewing.

Look, I'm sorry, but I think the Vision portal is precisely for that purpose, isn't it?

Sorry i should have been more clear dedicated mobile app. Most business owners are viewing cameras on the go from mobile.

Yes, and the Meraki app (the second link) exists for that.

Sorry, but I don't see the point in your request. Besides, there are APIs that allow you to develop your own app.

Agreed that I don't see the point in this, it sounds like you have improvements that could be done from a Org and Network organizational perspective, and then the customer should be using the Meraki app or the Vision portal (which can be put on your mobile's home screen like an app)

In the app, enable the "Biometric" authentication option.  Then they can just log in using a fingerprint/face/etc.
