WiFi-5 MR access points are now supported as MT gateways!

As of firmware version MR28.3, Meraki MT sensors can now connect to most WiFi-5 MR access points as gateways to the Meraki platform. Deliver new business outcomes by transforming your existing environments into smart spaces with environmental monitoring and real-time alerts.

Supported WiFi-5 MR access points include:

MR33, MR42, MR42E, MR52, MR53, MR53E, MR74 and MR84

Upgrade your eligible MR devices to the latest public beta firmware (MR28.4) to take advantage of this new functionality.

@David-H I just added an MT to a WiFi5 wave2 network and saw this message, which I think needs updating:

Thanks @David-H  We got a couple of MT12s (as part of a large Meraki switch upgrade) but didn’t realise they were WiFi 6 only. We have mr33s

upgraded them to v28 and had zero issues. Nice job!
