using 10gbps ports on MX

Are there any benefits to using 10gbps ports if the link with the ISP is 1gbps? On the LAN side we have switches that support both 10gbps and 1gbps.

If the MX is only providing internet access with a single VLAN then no, however if it is doing any inter-VLAN routing then yes 🙂

For switch to switch traffic, you may see minimal improvement, but it's a wise investment for the future. If you have 1G copper uplinks, an upgrade could be 1G fiber uplinks (free up one copper port). If you have 1G fiber uplinks, consider 10G fiber uplinks. Cost/available funds/other projects would help determine how high on priority you put this.
