problem configuring mx95 in HA using only 1 uplink IP for 2 boxes.

Hello, I am having some doubts and problems configuring the two mx95 boxes in HA because I only have one ip available from the router and I would like to know if it is still possible to establish a connection through the first box.

Note: I read the documentation, and it says that I need to have different WAN uplink IPs.

Hi @marcosalef , that is correct. 1 IP per MX and the third for the VRRP.

Hi @marcosalef , you are correct but also depends on which design you require.  I always go the VRRP route so this requiring 3 public IPs.

Thank you very much @Darren OC I had forgotten to mention the Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol and I really need 3 public IPs. Thank you very much for replying and remembering.

just need to clarify, the 2 ips are for each box and a Shared Virtual IP used as the default gateway for the devices on the network. is that it?
