how to remove Anyconnect old profiles ?

Hello,

Each time one new any Profile updated in Anyconnect VPN client,  those entries in old profiles still be kept in the dropdown box. I knew that this is possible to remove those files when going to the profile folder by manual , but would like to know if there is a way to remove it remotely.

Use an automation tool to remove the file.  You could use Powershell+group policy in AD, Powershell+Intune, a login script, ...

They are stored in this directory (and you can delete them):
%ProgramData%\Cisco\Cisco Secure Client\VPN\Profile

Pro tip for a long standing bug - when ever you upload the profile to the dashboard, the dashboard ALWAYS appends .xml onto the filename, even if the filename already ends in .xml.  So if you upload profile.xml, it gets saved as profile.xml.xml, and download to the client like that.  So you need to upload profile.xml as profile.

manual removal is not so good when we hve 300 users . Is there other way to remove it other than asking user to do that?

Anyway, thanks for the tip. It shall just upload "Profile" without ".xml".
