VPN on MX68

Hello,

i need to know now if the MX68 will support the following design. Will the MX support having a remote user vpn reach a network thru a site to site vpn configured on the same MX68?.

remote user (RAVPN) connects to MX68-A

MX68-A has site to site vpn with MX68-B

Will the remote user be able to reach users on the other side of MX68-B assuring proper routing is in place?

Hi @Absolute-an

I understand this should work smoothly.

We have a few sites setup like this.  Two things to remember.  Make sure you use the DNS server that you need for client VPN.  Maybe the remote site or the site on other end.  Or you can just add the DNS static on your DNS server to point to the other site.  Second thing is to make sure you enable you client VPN subnet under the site to site settings.

If the site to to site VPN is using AutoVPN it will work.  If it is using a third party IPSec VPN it wont.

Hi @Absolute-an,

Site-to-site vpn will run smooth if you follow the instructions at https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Site-to-site_VPN/Meraki_Auto_VPN for quick set up.

Thanks!
