Third party VPN

Hello ,

Can anyone please help me understand this , I'm a little confused about how Meraki MX routes Internet traffic to a third party vpn ( ex: Zscaler ) .

Do we add a rule or a static route to force all internet traffic to go through this tunnel ? knowing that by default if the Load-balancing is disabled on the MX all internet traffic uses the primary uplink .

Thanks in advance 🙂 !!

Maybe it can help you:  https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Site-to-site_VPN/Tag-Based_IPsec_VPN_Failover

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

If you have a third party vpn with a 0.0.0.0 route.  All vlans with vpn enabled can only use this default route.
