Regarding Security Zone in Meraki MX240

Hi,

I have a MX-240 and i want to migrate from the existing Sophos firewall to this Meraki. I have not found any option of 'Security Zone' like other firewall. In our existing firewall (Sophos), to configure policy we have to mention Security zone (like Trust to Untrust/ LAN to DMZ) and each interface is considered as a Zone. So as we are planning to migrate from Sophos to Meraki we have to shift all the service with correct policies.

Need your suggestion and way out of this issue.

Like you already noticed meraki mx doesnt work like that.

Take a look here for a example of segmentation

Thanks for the info. But let's say we need to configure multiple zones (4/5), in that case how we can achieve this?

The MX is not like a traditional firewall.

Check it out.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

You use the same process as creating the DMZ but repeat.

I do agree, Meraki is not as nice in this area.
