Rate limit: buffer or drop?

Thanks for reading.

I'm looking to rate-limit my WAN interface.  Our ISP is (rightfully) dropping packets above our agreed circuit speed.  Do you know if MX-84 will buffer packets or drop?  Maybe it's configurable?  For sure I need to buffer.

In the SD-WAN & traffic shaping section you can and should set the download and upload correctly so the MX can properly manage the line
