RPC1918 works on mx64 and not mx68: why?

RPC1918 works on mx64 and not mx68: why?

I have an mx64 rule that looks like this...

ALLOW, RPC1918, TCP, ANY, ANY, 192.168.128.0/24, ANY

I cannot put this rule into my mx68. It won't allow the IP subnet to be written out.

I have the same problem with a DNS rule...

ALLOW, Allow DNS, UDP, 192.168.128.253/32, ANY, ANY, 53

As I attempt to put in a destination value it flashes an error, "Invalid input. Must be one of the following types: Any, IPv6 CIDR or VLAN." That seems irrational for the DNS rule. I want to specify one domain controller.

Why? What changed?

Thanks in advance

Are you trying to set inbound rules?

You have to use outbound rules.

What works on one model works on the other, are you running the same version on both? Otherwise I suggest you open a support case.

Wonderful. That was the issue.

I guess I got up too early this morning. Thank you!
