OSPF Between MX100 and Cisco 2811

Morning everyone - I am wondering if an MX100 and a Cisco 2811 will exchange route information? Will the MX100 advertise the routes it knows to the 2811, and will the MX100 learn routes from the 2811?

I have a need to use 2811s at the edges of our VPLS to pass traffic to remote offices. My boss doesn't want to pay the cost for premium circuits and QinQ to use VLANs over the VPLS, so I'm considering using the 2811s at the edge of each remote site to route over the VPLS instead. I'm just not sure how dynamic routing will work with a mix of Meraki and non-Meraki equipment.

I assume you expect some more OSPF-flexibility on the MX as there really is. Start with this document, especially the first paragraphs for the restrictions:

Looks like it will only work if we remove all VLANs from the MX, which isn't practical for us. I supposeiI could use static routes on the 2811s, but we all know how much fun that is to manage...

Hopefully you can add in a supernet route, like 10.0.0.0/8.  Adding individual site routs is more of a pain.
