Need MX85 with WAN1, WAN2 and WAN3

Hello,

I have an MX85 currently setup with ports as follows...

Current setup:

Under WAN - GbE - WAN3 is primary Internet, WAN4 is the failover using the Meraki MG21E-NA (Cellular Gateway).

Desired setup:

Under WAN - GbE - WAN3 as primary Internet, WAN4 - secondary - failover to Starlink, set up LAN port 5 as WAN5 (Tertiary) failover to the MG21E-NA Cellular Gateway.

The question is, is this possible?

Thanks for any answers to this question!

Dan

Picture below shows WAN3 and WAN4 as the current setup.  LAN port 7 is the downlink to our LAN switch.

You would need to use SFP modules (fiber or copper) are required for physical ports 1 & 2 and port 3 would then not be available for use.  Port 4 would be your tertiary WAN.

On the MX85, MX95 & MX105 - The Fourth physical port is the designated backup port. Physical ports 1 & 2 become designated WAN 1 and WAN 2 ports.

On the MX85, MX95 & MX105
- the Third physical port is disabled and unusable once MultiWAN is enabled

This article describes the only way you can have 3 ISPs setup: https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/MultiWAN_Backup_Uplink

You can have 3 ISPs, but you would need SFPs for Ports 1 and 2, and Port 4 would be the tertiary.

So, we are unable to convert a LAN port to be a WAN port.  Is that correct?

On some models, you can convert the first LAN port to a WAN port.  You do this under the Uplink tab.

Yes, I am aware of that thank you.  I did this on a mx-67c model.  So I was hoping it was possible on the MX85.

I just checked an MX85, and I see that same option available.
