Meraki secure client VPN, point hostname to ip of spare Meraki box

Hi all,

I have some problems, our user connect VPN to office work ok for 2-3 years, but during this 2-3 days, all of user cannot connect to our Meraki. As check seems like resolved hostname to IP is point to Spare Box e.g. 10.20.30.2   instate of 10.20.30.1  <-- primary box.

I'm try to swap box from Primary box to Spare box and VPN is work ok. but they impact with some NAT and Firewall policy.

Anyone know how to change dynamic dns resolved name that point back to Primary box ?

You don't need to swap back to the spare box.  Just leave it on the primary box for 10 minutes.

Try swapping it back and giving everything a reboot.

It can take 10 minutes for the dynamic DNS to update.

Thank you for your advise, But, I'm try to reboot via web portal + try to remove AC cable for 1st box then 2nd box. IP still point to second Box.

can we request DDNS point to first box ?

If the WAN link is up and working ont he first box - the dynamic DNS will update to point to it within 10 minutes.  It will just be a matter of waiting.

OK, Let me try again as below step.

1. Swap to Spare Box then wait for 10 min.

2. Swap back to Primary box, wait for 10 min.

3. remote reboot , wait for 10 min and will be check again.
