Meraki MX 64 & NAT Rules

Hi Everyone,

Looking for help please. I Need to connect to a supplier from my Cisco ASA5515 and they are running a Meraki MX64 via an IPSEC VPN

Their local LAN clashes with one of my networks so I am asking them to

NAT their 192.168.0.1 to 10.30.40.xxx network

and create a VPN tunnel between with protected traffic of 10.30.40.xxx to 10.30.50.xxx

They will only need 6-8 devices so could do static 1:1 NAT

However they are telling me that the Meraki MX 64 will not handle this, please can you advise if this is the case?

Maybe they are just mis-understanding me.

TIA

Mick

Kind of a big deal

Meraki does not support VPN NAT on tunnels like that, no.

Hi

Is this just the MX64 that does not do it? Is there a model that will do what I am looking for?

Regards

Mick

That's not specific for particular models.

Thank you for answering, do you mean no Meraki will do what I need?

That is correct. No Meraki firewall will do VPN NAT on a standard IPSEC tunnel. ('Third party tunnels' in Meraki slang.)
