MX84 Primary & Secondary Uplink Troubleshooting Assistance

Hello,

 

First time, long time. 

 

Recently I received an alert regarding our MX84 where Uplink 1 had a network failed over, and luckily we had Uplink 2 available for clients.

 

I checked under Security & SD-WAN ---> Monitor ---> Appliance Status, and viewed that it was only down for 2 minutes. I inspected the ethernet cables to see if they were loose, also no power outages(all other devices had no interruption in our server room).

 

Any other general troubleshooting tips or even some other things I can test to see what happened? I feel I keep combing through the same sections and see nothing on my end.

I think I'd start by asking the service provider of your WAN1 link.
