MX68 to MX105 configuration transfer

Hello

We have an MX68 in production and have acquired a new MX105, how can we transfer the configurations from the old to the new MX?

THANKS

Take a look at the documentation.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

As per the provided documentation, it's a relatively trivial process.

Most of the configuration is pulled down to the new MX after replacement. Only things like port specific configuration and Site-to-site VPN config will have to be re-configured.

The above comments are excellent.  The one thing I'll mention is any WAN traffic shaper you have configured on the MX68 (under Security & SD-WAN/SD-WAN & traffic shaping) will be kept - whereas you often want to use the higher performance option offered by the MX105.

Took my longer than I care to admit to work this out in swapping MX84 for MX75
