MX65 giving high latency on appliance ping

Hi,

When I do a ping to a device over the sd wan (auto vpn) the ping is "normal" (20 ms)

 When I do a ping on a MX65 I am getting a high latency on the Ping Appliance. (Above 300 ms)

What could be causing this?

A ping over autovpn is between the devices.

Ping appliance is from the meraki cloud to the device. Meraki cloud is a big shared  hosted environment. So besides its a total different path,  i can image when its busy at the meraki cloud a icmp is processed last.
