MX port numbering in dashboard / Addressing & VLANs page

On a template based MX68 based organisation, the / Addressing & VLANs page of the template, the numbering starts with Port 2.

Can someone tell me if this port 2 is actually the first LAN port (next to the 2 Internet/WAN ports) ?  Or is port 2 really the second WAN port?

It will depend, but if I'm correct it's the port number 3.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Ports 1 and 2 are WAN ports and 3-10 are LAN.

If you look at the client page and add the port column, you will see for many MXs that the port shown is indeed N+1.  Therefore port 2 is the labelled port 3 as @alemabrahao stated.  Try on your network and this will confirm it for you, but it is definitely the case for an MX75.
