MX 84 in one armed concentrator mode showing high number of clients.

I have a VPN concentrator in a datacenter set up as one armed. When I go to the clients list I show thousands of clients. Is this normal?

Yes and no!  Is the MX in its own network?  If not move it into its own network and that should clear the anomaly.

Hi @guerriero33t  - apologies, ignore the last snippet.  Take a look through this document:

How are you tracking clients?  We got caught out by the following:

  • Do not use Unique Client Identifier in a dashboard network where the MX's WAN ports are connected to a Meraki switch in the same Dashboard network. If you need to use a Meraki switch in between your ISP and the MX WAN please separate this switch from both the dashboard and physical network.
