Issue with VPN limiting access to certain IPs
Hi,
I've done some searching but have not found what I am experiencing.
I have a MX64 set up in the most basic of terms for VPN.
I have NAT on and the VPN for clients is enabled with a secret. Authenticating is via a Meraki account. Connecting is not a issue.
When I VPN in I cannot get to all my IP addresses.
The main network is 192.168.1.xxx.
The VPN network is 192.168.2.xxx.
I have a VMware server that has an IP of 192.168.1.8. But I cannot access it. I have to remote to another computer on the network to access it. The same is true with some raspberry pi's. I can get to one pi at 192.168.1.41 but I cannot hit 1921.68.1.42. My main switch (which is a Dell) at 192.168.1.50 is not accessible.
But if I remote control a Windows client I can get to everything.
I have no rules for limits or restrictions set up.
I simply want to access my home network from anywhere and hit all my nods.
As of a few days ago, I used to be able to access 192.168.1.8 but now I cannot and do not understand why it is being denied over VPN.
I have tried this from work, a cellular hot spot, and my android cell phone.
Any ideas?
Thank you for you help in advance!

On the 192.168.1.x devices there are likely to be one of two errors:
* Wrong subnet mask
* Wrong default gateway
Double check those two settings.

John_D,
this is sounds like a default gateway or subnet mask mismatch or missing issue. Verify you have them set correctly on all you devices.
