Is incoming VPN traffic analyzed by IPS?

If I have a remote VPN client utilizing the auto VPN tunnel (MX67 spoke connecting to MX100 hub), the incoming traffic is encrypted. Once it reaches the hub, the traffic is decrypted. Is that decrypted then analyzed by the IPS on the MX100 (assuming it has the advanced security features enabled)?
