Inbound firewall rules on Meraki MX - where do they apply

Hi All

Am I correct in saying the Inbound firewall rules on the rules page only apply to traffic coming in via the WAN interface?

If I have a router that sits on the LAN side of the firewall that routes traffic to the MX, I assume the inbound rules would not work?

Cheers

Kind of a big deal

You are correct, however if you want to block traffic between VLANs you can do this in the outbound rules and it will work.
