IP Conflicts

The business members club - high traffic... So on the members VLAN, getting IP Conflict between 2 member devices. The IP is not assigned to any device in the firewall settings...

I looked up the MAC address for one of the devices - I set the search to 30 days and it cannot find the MAC, so it has not been connected to the network in over 30 days.  If that's the case, why is the IP conflict happening?  That DHCP assignment should have expired long time ago.

The other device (a galaxy smart watch) last connected 3 days ago and have been connecting periodically for the past month... every time it connects, I get the IP conflict.

Is there a way to force an IP to be released?

Kind of a big deal

Could it be that one of the devices have a static IP address configured?

Have you tried to assign another IP by Mac reservation?

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.
