I am relatively new to this, but i have some questions.
I have a ATT Fiber Connection that is SPF+ and LC. Would this type of connector work? It is 10G but i am a bit confused on the duplexing on it. The connector in question:

I just want to make sure before i tell my company what to buy. Also does anyone here have any suggestions on good reading for Fiber cables?
Thanks,
Dan
Solved! Go to solution.
I think you mean SFP/SFP+ - yes, you need to buy those as well. They need to match the same type as what AT&T are using, for example single mode, multi-mode, SR/LR/LRM.
What Meraki device and model do you have?
Mx-95. I got this off the product documentation.
Check it out.

The MX95 has 2x dedicated 10Gb SFP+ ports for WAN, as well as 2x 10Gb SFP+ ports for LAN.
So yes, if ATT provides the same connectors it should definitely work.
To ensure compatibility with Meraki, you should probably stick to Meraki optics aswell, as @alemabrahao also references to.
I am sticking with Meraki as it just seems like a better idea for support. The meraki still needs cards as they do not come with them correct?
What cards?
What do you mean by cards?
I do, Sorry. I am just learning this. I mean transceivers.
