Device boot - MX already supported ?

Hi ,

I just did a firmware upgrade and I noticed that MXs are already supporting the new Event log : Device boot

But the device uptime is not present ( Security & SD-WAN -> Appliance status ) ?

https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Monitoring_and_Reporting/Device_Uptime doesn't mention anything about MX ( yet ).

Have I missed any announcement or am I lucky ?

have seen this in event log on 17.x some weeks ago. Also not sure when this was implemented.

Then  I don't really understand why this is not present :

Since I can manually calculate it from the logs. Anyway , this is not GA I think so I won't complain too much 😁

I'm fairly confident this is because the MX platform does not have this capability at all right now. Try to get uptime via an snmpget or Cacti or some other SNMP monitoring tool, it will work for MS but for MX it just isn't there.

I think only MS got device uptime.

Yes MS only today and still rolling out to shards. So not everyone has it yet.

MR will be next. Hopefully MX at some point.
