Destination based routing ?

Xavier_o
Comes here often

Destination based routing ?

A - current situation.

B - trying to achieve.

Is it possible to do this with MX appliance and 2 IPsec tunnels? No internet breakout..

If the destination is 10.X.X.X go to VPN 1 (HQ)

If the destination is NOT 10.X.X.X go to VPN 2

Many thanks.

Hi @Xavier_o ,

Looks like this should  be possible with the configuration of Traffic Shaping.

Security & SD-WAN->SD-WAN & Traffic Shaping -> SD-WAN policies-> VPN traffic -> Add a preference

Kind of a big deal
Kind of a big deal

Routing is (almost) always based on destination.  For example advertise 10.0.0.0/8 from hq and 0.0.0.0 from vpn2

What connection is the underlay? You want to use meraki autovpn or 3rd party vpn

From documentation, I understand that this is possible only for Meraki Auto VPN  ?

"Note: Flow preferences for VPN traffic only affect Meraki AutoVPN, not non-Meraki VPN Peers"

https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Firewall_and_Traffic_Shaping/MX_Load_Balancing_and_Flow_Preferen...

We using non-Meraki VPN, HUB.

Thanks
