Client VPN

Hi Team,

I have the Meraki MX connected on the LAN port of the ISP Modem. I would like to know will the client VPN work ? in this case.

The issue is that i can not have the ISP modem in the bridge mode. Therefore, i am not sure if the client VPN will work or not ?

Correct.  Also VPN tends to be more reliable this way,

You'll need to forward udp/500 and udp/4500 from the ISP router to the WAN interface on the MX.

Also check out my client VPN wizard.

@PhilipDAth

If the Modem is configured in the bridge Mode. and WAN IP is received directly on the WAN interface of the MX then we dont need to do this port forwarding for Client VPN? correct.
