Client VPN communication

I have searched through the forum but haven't found the answer to this question.

Can remote VPN clients communicate with each other once they are connected to the VPN on an MX100. I have a client telling me that they are trying to ping other VPN users based on their VPN IP and it is failing. I thought they would be able to talk to each other by default since there are no settings to block that communication in the dashboard.

Yes communication should be possible. The client itself most likely  does not allow  incoming  ping sessions on its (build in windows) firewall.
