Circuit Upgrades and new IP from WAN provider

I am in the process of a circuit upgrade, and i have been assigned new external usable IP addresses by our WAN provider. Can anyone share if they have also done something like that and what problems to watch out for ? Also if they are any tips or tricks on how to go about doing this.

Nothing tricky involved.  I tend to configure 1:1 NAT (as my first choice) but you can also do 1:many NAT.

Should be a straight forward process to migrate from one batch of external IPs to your new allocation.  Note your existing settings on your MX, NAT rules etc then amend to the new.

If your external IP is changing the other thing to watch out for is if you communicate with any 3rd parties that may have whitelisted your current IP.

I had this issue where we SFTP data to a third party and I hab to get them to update their firewall for our new IP address.
