Can MX do IPSEC VPNs with VPNs from other vendors?

The guide says that the Non-Meraki VPN peers menu is a connection between MXs from different organizations.

Yes, you can build non-Meraki VPN IP-Sec tunnels from an MX to most other vendor appliances that has relatively standard ike/IP-Sec implementations.

While it can do this - it is not strong in this area.  If it doesn't work it can be hard to diagnose.
