Bug: Refreshing Umbrella API Key in Meraki MX84 is not possible

Hey,

i just implemented Umbrella in our MX84 and MX64W Setup.

Due to not writing down the secret of the API key, i had to refresh the key in Umbrella.

Now my MX64W is working perfectly. But after removing Umbrella protection in MX84 dashboard I'm not able to reactivate. I did not ask me the new credentials.

It's just saying:

There were errors in contacting Cisco Umbrella:

  • Umbrella API Error. Code: 401. Error: Invalid authentication credentials

Does anyone know how to remote the stored keys?

Thanks in advance

Joachim

Umbrella API is configured on a per netwowrk basis.

Just go to "Network -> General" within your MX84 protected network, delete the API credential (on the bottom of the page) and you should be good to go setting it up using the correct key..

Thanks a lot!

It seems like I had been blind all the time.

Completely removing the account under the general tab solved my problem.
