Azure integration improving?

I saw this news article, but cannot find any specifics, anyone know if it is more than just a set of instructions?

Which is using scripts hosted on what appears to be an employees personal github account?

Doesn't exactly make me super confident.

I suppose it'll be quite a bit cheaper than a vMX license but with quite a bit more complexity.
