Auto-VoIP

Our voice vendor is asking if Meraki can be configured to use Auto-VOIP. I know what it is, but I do not see it as an option anywhere in the documentation. Has anyone used this feature on Meraki gear if it is even available?

Currently we use Option 242 to switch the Avaya phones from our data network to the voice vlan.

Thank you,

Shawn

Kind of a big deal

Meraki switches do standard LLDP voice VLAN assignment.  On your switch port you want to make it an access port and then select the voice VLAN.  The voice VLAN you enter is what will be announced to phones.  Pair that with a DHCP server of your choice serving the DHCP options of your choice.

Thank you Brandon. That confirms what I was already reading. I just wanted to confirm I was not missing something.
