AnyConnect for Meraki Client VPN Access?

I heard that AnyConnect compatibility with Meraki MX is coming soon. Does anyone know when it will be available and what needs to be configured on the back end?

Hi @MerakiMed , reach out to your Meraki AM to discuss the Beta programme.  And yes, it would mean running Beta firmware for a period 😕

Hi @MerakiMed , believe this is currently on Beta 16.x.

With regards what’s needed at the backend....an MX 😁

I would expect a separate Anyconnect subscription is also required.

Thank you. I'd really like to be able to use the AnyConnect. But that would mean putting beta code on the hub devices. Hmm.

As far as I was told, the closed beta program is literally closed. They have enough networks for tests.

The open beta should be due first quarter 2021.

Hello All,

It's been a long wait, but finally we are happy to announce that AnyConnect is now available on the Meraki MX as a  public beta feature on the MX16.X firmware.

To learn more about AnyConnect on the MX please visit AnyConnect on the MX

Thank you all for your patience!

This is good news and I'm looking forward to testing. One question however:
In the AnyConnect on MX vs ASA document below - in the Authentication

section - nothing is mentioned about RADIUS nor Active Directory authentication

of users. Is that an oversight? I searched the document for radius and active directory

/AD and not spotting anything. Ideally I'd also like to be able to use Azure 2FA.

Not sure if that's on the horizon.

If I go to the Dashboard and look at Client VPN I see RADIUS. Does that apply to
AnyConnect connections?

Radius and Active Directory are both available.

@Bsalami Indeed good news!!!

The question now is, how much development should we expect further - like Certificate based only authentication, custom DNS name usage, etc.?
