Allow skype for business and messenger on MX84

Hi,

My customer requires that a particular LAN host should only be able to access outlook.office365 and skype for business and messenger, blocking all other websites.

Any idea how to configure the policy for allowing skype.

Hi,

Please check the following url.

https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Deployment_Guides/Wireless_Voice_Deployment_Guide_(CVD)#Microsof...

This seems to contain the list of servers and ports we need to work on. You may create a policy with the required information and apply the same on the desired device.

Hope this helps you. [I am sure you know how to create and apply a policy]

Hi Ajitkumar,

Provided document is about how to implement QoS for Microsoft Lync and Skype for Business.

We required here How to configure Skype for business and messenger  on meraki MX84.

Hi,

You need to allow traffic between your subnet and the Microsoft cloud and the link provided by @AjitKumar has all the details you may need to configure rules on the MX.

You can find a full list of Office 365 and SfB addresses and ports here: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/office-365-urls-and-ip-address-ranges-8548a211-3fe7-47cb-ab...
