4G says "Connecting" but never gets to "Ready"

We're moving into a new office today, and new ISP couldn't connect our service in time.

We need to run our MX64 on 4G for a week or two.

4G modem is E3372 and our local carrier Tele2 is detected by our MX64 but it never gets passed "Connecting".

Support assisted to add the APN, but that didn't help either.

4G modem works fine in a laptop.

Other ideas?

Have you tried a different SIM card/provider as a test? Judging by the state "Connecting" and by the fact that the provider is at least detected I suspect the modem is working fine but the provider is not letting you on their network for some reason. So I would try to rule out that there's an issue with the modem/MX by confirming with another providers SIM card first.

See more info about the states here:

Get a 4G router instead - one that takes a SIM card but has Ethernet out.  Then plug that into the Internet port on your MX.

USB dongles often cause trouble.
