How do I set the GX50 Router Local Address?  The gateway address

The local IP address of the GX50 can be configured per VLAN to act as the gateway on the configured VLAN. You can find this option under the Networks tab then select an already configured network and edit it or create a new wired network. There you will see a field to configure the GX50's local IP address per VLAN. This IP address will be the gateway of that VLAN subnet.

Does the Default VLAN work on Port 2-5?

As long as the ports are configured for VLAN 1 (Default VLAN) then the default VLAN will work on those ports.
